Photography Notes

My involvement with photography began in 1991 with my introduction to photoshop. As a graphic designer, I was learning about this amazing tool which took me inside an image in a totally new way. I started asking friends for photos that I could work with artistically. It wasn't long before I bought my first camera. For many years I attempted to use digital tools to impart a sense of artistry to my photographs. These efforts have been largely unsuccessful. It was only when I began to paint that I found something to add which actually added something. Now, I mostly leave my photographs alone except for a little grooming and contrast here and there.
